UNITED FOR HUMAN RIGHTS (UHR)

United for Human Rights (UHR) assists and unites individuals, educators, organizations and governmental bodies to implement the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at local, regional, national and international levels.

It was founded on the Declaration’s 60th anniversary in the face of continued worldwide abuses that violate the whole spirit and intent in which the community of nations, for the first time in history, conceived and adopted a charter of all human rights.

The Declaration contains the thirty rights that together form the basis for a civilization where people can enjoy all the freedoms to which they are entitled and nations can live in peace.

As part of their efforts to create awareness about human rights laws, and educate individuals all over the world about the importance of implementing these laws, UHR has come up with several inspiring and informative videos. One of such videos is a short documentary titled "What Are Human Rights?" This rather short documentary gives arguably the best explanation of human rights and its origins.
