The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) was established in 2002 to support the College’s efforts to attract, recruit, and serve both students of color and international students. Our mission is to create and sustain an environment that encourages and embraces the contributions of people from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

“What’s Your Carbon Footprint?”

· Host: Social Justice Committee

· Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2009

· Time: 10:00AM-2:00PM

· Venue: Info Booth (Hagan Campus Center Lobby)

· Stop by the info booth to take a short quiz that will tell you your carbon footprint

Diversity Mural

· Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2009

· Time: 5:30PM

· Venue: Laska 206

Other On-Campus Events

· CAB: Family Weekend is from Friday September 25-27. On Saturday 26th there will be an Adult Circus at 8PM in the Plourde Recreation Center

· Reach Out Center: Beverage can tabs will be collected all year. This is to help support the Ronald McDonald house in Springfield, Massachusetts.

· SGA: Nomination forms for the class of 2013 are still available and the elections will take place on October 6th.

· Campus Ministry: On Monday, September 28 applications are due for START 1 participants. On Tuesday, September 29 there is a SEND Info Night in Charlie’s at 6PM

· AC ALLIES: On Tuesday, September 29, ALLIES has a meeting at 7PM. All are welcome to attend.
